Pride

Name: Sam

The story behind it:

A couple of years ago my brother was severely depressed and I tried my hardest to support him in any way possible. On his road to recovery we used to have really intimate long conversations about life and whatever was bothering him. One time we were chatting and somehow it turned into a really bad argument which resulted in us both saying some very mean things, and him storming out of the room. We didn't speak to eachother for a couple of days and we ignored eachother in the house. One time I sat down and thought about what happened between me and my brother and he came running down the stairs and told me that he had heard a song that had made him realize that he couldn't let something so trivial ruin our great friendship. We both forgave eachother instantly. That song now makes me realize how close we nearly came to giving up on eachother, but instead we are still supporting eachother and we're having a lot of fun together as well.
